Jamaica Questions...

Folks, friends- sometimes I am amazed. It's a digital world filled with people willing to speak up, willing to help. It's also a world filled with people who really don't care, but just want to weigh in. So, it boggles my mind that anyone would go on to FB looking for the right person to fetch them at Mo Bay and take them where-ever, and "bonus points" if they can hook you up, Are you serious?

I was told weed isn't technically legal in Jamaica (sorta kinda always f-e-l-t pretty close to legal. Just sayin.)- but the powers that be came to see the constant battle of trying to keep proud Jamaicans, many of them Rastafarians, from smoking their beloved ganja. Unlike the rest of the world coming to grips with decriminalization or legalization or whatever, Jamaica said, in effect, they' are simply done worrying with it.

And now, the market is ripe with entrepreneurs of all sorts, willing to assist. Jamaica has always been known for its lovely 420 hospitality, but it's everywhere now, not hiding, and legit. Absolutely legit. It's a beautiful thing, indeed. Even psilocybin mushrooms are plentiful and accessible, if you know where to look.

Dispensaries and willing salespersons will appear, and you will in most cases be treated politely and fairly... well fairly fairly. Remember, the island is perfect for growing cannabis, and they've got it perfected. It's a lot of profit- and good for them. Truly. They work hard, in the hot sun, year round. And damn, they're good growers.  Thing is, it's really smart to be connected before you go, if at all possible, so you skip the tourist ganja and get hold of what you want. That's truth! If you're a curious or casual smoker, you'll be fine. If you're a connoisseur, you'll appreciate this advice :-)

Some of your grow tours feature curious traveler strains and products, while others go more in depth, have strains you've maybe not seen in a while, and locally admired strains. If a deeper dive, more grow information, or the very pinnacle of bud is important to you, work with someone, a travel agent or company, that knows and can address your interest level. (Ours know- and they hit the nail on the head every time. Just sayin'.)

Anyway- best to not get travel advice, especially abroad, especially about cannabis abroad,  from random strangers. :-)
