That 7 MILE SMILE !

Seven Mile Beach in Negril, Jamaica, is one of the most famous and beautiful beaches in the Caribbean. Stretching along the western coast of the island, offering soft white sand, crystal-clear turquoise waters, and breathtaking sunsets. Lucky visitors may even get treated to a green flash.

7 Mile beach has always been gorgeous, but really started to gain popularity in the 1960s and 1970s when Negril became a hotspot for backpackers, hippies and wonderful free spirits, all looking for an unspoiled paradise. Can you imagine, such a relatively short time ago, living by an untamed, natural perfection of a Caribbean beach, hardly anyone around, no tourists to speak of. Maybe no paved roads. Wow.

Over the years, the area has transformed into a major tourist destination and a thriving town, with luxury resorts, boutique hotels, and vibrant beach bars lining the shore. I can't get over the changes since I first went just fifteen years ago. Amazing.

In an awesome twist, despite development, parts of the beach still retain a laid-back, natural charm. The resorts are steps to the beach. If you're looking for some mischief (and ya' oughta' be- you're in the perfect place to party!), walking the beach is a nice stroll- and can be a blast.

The beach is split into two sections: Long Bay (the main stretch) and Bloody Bay (a smaller, quieter area). Known for its calm, shallow waters, 7 Mile Beach is absolutely ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and water sports. Local vendors and beachside restaurants offer delicious Jamaican cuisine, from jerk chicken to fresh seafood, farm to table deliciousness, and pretty much anything you could want. I'd opt for dishes from the local menu. Save the salmon for the states, eat up on local dishes. Try something with a coconut run down. :-)

The beach is an important part of Negril’s economy, drawing thousands of visitors yearly. Diverse marine life and coral reefs in Jamaica's waters attract snorkelers and divers, and the Reggae scene brings its share of visitors looking to experience Jamaica's awesome music scene. Music is huge in Jamaica, karaoke is taken seriously, and Bob Marley remains a strong part of daily life.

Cannabis is plentiful- everywhere. Jamaica is known for it. For the best bud, stick with a well respected local grower or the dispensary. I've said it for years: the easy bud is never the best, the stuff at the airport is rarely top grade, and the best is saved for friends and family. If you want to compare your grow or your favorite strain to Jamaican bud, make it a fair comparison. Make arrangements when you book your vacation to have access to top shelf bud on day one.

As for non pharmaceutical requests (psilocybin, for example) always have your travel agent/concierge make prior arrangements. (I found the most delicious sea salt shroom infused dark chocolates that I thoroughly enjoyed micro-dosing that I would never have found without knowing someone prior to going. So glad I asked!)

Seven Mile Beach is a must-visit destination in Jamaica, offering a perfect blend of relaxation, adventure, pampering, FOOD, ocean, cannabis, bars, and anything you could possible want for a really, really great time. I can't wait to go back, and I hope you'll try it and feel the same. If you want a totally laid back, Irie, absolutely no stress vacay, this is absolutely the place.

Oh- hears a HUGE deal that won't last. I'll take down the link when it's over. ACT FAST! HOT JAMAICA DEAL
